Tasting Notes

Clear, bright ruby red with subtle translucent, crimson edges.

On the Nose expressive and fragrant, featuring aromas of fresh red cherries, raspberries, and wild blackberries, layered with subtle oak smoke, dry forest floor, and a hint of warm baking spices.

On the Palate medium-bodied, succulent, and well-balanced. Upfront ripe red berry and cherry fruit is supported by fine, taut tannins and a lively, mineral-driven acidity. The finish is long and savory with persistent berry fruit and mild spicy, earthy tones.

Serving: Serve slightly cool at 59–61°F (15–16°C). Decant 20–30 minutes before serving to soften the fresh tannins.

Food Pairing: Poultry & Game (Pan-seared duck breast with a fruit reduction of blackcurrant or cherry, roasted quail, or duck confit). Meats (Roasted pork tenderloin, veal cutlets, or braised beef stews). Earthy Dishes (Mushroom risotto, roasted root vegetables, or beef carpaccio). Cheeses (Mild, semi-soft French cheeses such as Comté, Reblochon, or Brie).
