Tasting Notes

Deep, vibrant ruby with brilliant garnet reflections around the rim.

On the Nose expressive aromatics of ripe cherries, kirsch, mulberries, and wild strawberries, accented by classic Southern Rhône garrigue (dried herbs), ground pepper, and subtle floral or lavender notes.

On the Palate medium-to-full-bodied with soft, velvety tannins and bright acidity. It carries sweet red fruit flavours at the core plum and dark cherry balanced with cocoa, mint, and fine spices. Smooth and persistent, concluding with peppery warmth and subtle dusty, stony earthiness.

Serving: Serve slightly cool at 60°F–64°F (16°C–18°C) to keep the high alcohol balanced and the fresh fruit notes prominent. Decant for 30 to 45 minutes before serving to allow the spice and fruit aromatics to open up fully.

Food Pairings: Pairs exceptionally well with grilled or roasted meats (roast lamb, venison, duck breast), herb-crusted pork, rich mushroom risotto, and aged hard cheeses.
