A vibrant and expressive Pecorino from Abruzzo DOC, combining bright acidity, saline minerality, and aromatic intensity, a pure expression of one of Italy’s most distinctive native white grapes.

Vellodoro Pecorino is sourced from estate vineyards in Roseto degli Abruzzi overlooking the Gran Sasso massif, complemented by selected plots in northern Chieti under direct agronomic supervision. The clay-sandy soils provide both structure and aromatic finesse, while the combined influence of the Adriatic Sea and the Apennines ensures significant day–night temperature variation, preserving freshness and complexity. Grapes are hand-harvested in September and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperatures, with no malolactic fermentation to maintain brightness and natural acidity. The wine is aged for approximately four months on fine lees, enhancing texture and aromatic depth while preserving varietal purity.
